A white cross on a red ground has always identified the Swiss national uniforms, no matter the sport. One of its most illustrious flag bearer in cycling disciplines has certainly been Peter Frischknecht that in the seventies did set a record as multiple National Championship winner and World Championship medalist. Made in Italy on traditional warp-knitting machines like back in the day from Merino wool blend for classic performance and easy care and featuring chainstitch logos, vintage zippers and traditional back cargo pockets, the 1973 Swiss National Jersey pays homage to the first ever World Cyclocross Championship held in England at Crystal Palace, London, on February 25th, 1973. A defining moment in the history of the sport as it marked the definitive transition to modern Cyclocross.
