DM supplies with information as follows about the processing of data communicated by the Users or otherwise gathered during the browsing of this Website.
Personal data are collected and processed for the following purposes:
a) for fulfilling the request of the Users to manage the relationship with DM both to be established or already existing;
b) for administrative purposes connected with the fulfillment of its contractual obligations for the fulfillment of legal obligations such as those relating to accounting, tax, or required by applicable law.
Nature of underwriting
Providing data to the purpose referred to in subparagraph a) and b) is optional but any refusal will result in the inability of the Company to execute the contractual commitments entered into.
By registering their e-mail address to the newsletter, the Users authorize De Marchi to send communications to the aforesaid address containing news, promotions, technical and commercial information about De Marchi's products and initiatives. The Users can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the appropriate link in the bottom of each newsletter sent by De Marchi, or by sending a cancellation request to email@example.com.
By creating an account on demarchi.com, users authorize De Marchi to collect the personal data provided, such as e-mail address, full name, shipping and billing addresses, telephone number and any other data communicated by users themselves. Data relating to payment methods will not be collected. The data provided by users creating an account will be used exclusively to facilitate subsequent purchase operations by users. The Users can in any case request the cancellation of their account by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The cancellation can take up to 2 working days. In case of cancellation of the account, De Marchi will retain, for administrative and tax purposes, as required by current regulations, the data relating to orders placed by users.
Data will be processed by electronic or automated tools, computer and internet, either by manual processing logic, strictly related to the purposes for which personal data have been gathered and, anyway, so in all cases to ensure safety at the same.
Retaining personal data
According to article 5, e) of the GDPR, personal data are kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed. The period for which the personal data are stored is limited to a strict minimum.
Data processing system
Processing of your personal data is carried out by internal staff of DM appointed for this purpose to process data. Responsible for processing customer data is the managing director and legal representative of DM.
Personal data, if necessary or with the aim of the implementation of stated purposes, can be handled by a third party appointed for this purpose as External Responsible Agent in-charged of the treatment, and as appropriate, appointed as independent data holder, namely: (i) company that is part of our corporate group for the purposes referred to in paragraph 1 letter. a), b), c) and d), (ii) individual or juridical person, company, associations or professional firm which carries out assistance and advice to DM, for the purposes referred to in paragraph 1 letter. a), b), c), d), (iii) company, institution and association that performs services related and useful to the implementation of the purposes mentioned above (carrier for the delivery of catalogues and/or products purchased, our outlets, Customer Care, service analysis and market research, managing credit card payments, computer maintenance) for the purposes referred to in paragraph 1 letter. a).
About this, appropriate security is taken to prevent loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access. Personal data may also be transferred abroad at company that is part of the DM Group, also outside the EU. Personal data will not be spread in any case.

Right to access personal data and other rights
Any interested party shall have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data, even if not yet recorded, and their communication in intelligible form.

- the logic applied in case of treatment with the aid of electronic instruments;
- the identity of the owner, manager and the representative as defined by GDPR;

a) update, rectification or, when interested, integration of data;

c) certification that the operations in letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to those to whom the data were communicated or distributed, except in the case in which such fulfillment proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.
The interested party has the right to object, in whole or in part:
- for legitimate reasons to the processing of personal data, pertinent for collection purposes;
- the processing of personal data concerning him for purposes of sending advertising materials or direct selling or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.
